Darrel Berry

Darrel Berry is the COO and Managing Partner of the Chelsea Consulting Group, (www.chelseaconsulting.ca) a strategic IT and Business consulting company specializing in Outsourcing and Software as a Service. He is widely regarded as an expert in Outsourcing and Managed Services and has advised a number of companies on outsourcing strategy and implementation.
Darrel has a unique blend of hands on experience in a number of key areas – outsourcing, data centre and IT operations, and delivery management. He has led clients through difficult and challenging transitions from mergers and acquisitions, divestitures right up to building and making the transition to new IT paradigms.
With a strong focus on outsourcing / managed services and IT processes, Darrel has led companies in the set-up and ongoing management of outsourcing services and has implemented standards in areas such as ITSM, Cobit, ISO and Sarbanes Oxley compliance. He has also developed and rolled out methodologies for a number of consulting companies.
He has worked in executive and management roles with DMR Consulting Group (now Fujitsu Consulting), Cap Gemini Sogeti, Coopers & Lybrand and the Canadian Depository for Securities (CDS). His large and varied projects have taken him all around the world – in Europe, The Middle East, South America, Canada and the United States.
